Introducing Mass Transit

What is Mass Transit

My main text-based social network is Mastodon but when I do post, I do like to also cross-post on BlueSky and sometimes on Threads

I was sick of copying and pasting, and I hadn’t found an app that I liked to do this, so obviously I made my own

So I made Mass Transit!

That’s all it does, but it’s perfect for what I needed. If others find it useful, that’s great too!

Making apps in the age of AI

I definitely wouldn’t have built this without the help of AI tools

It’s very niche, and I wouldn’t have invested the time in making yet another app without the time savings of using coding agents

I wouldn’t classify it as vibe-coded though. It was definitely me having a clear vision of what I wanted the app to do, how I wanted it to work under the covers, and how it should look

I just outsourced much of the typing to Codex (my current agent of choice), with me reviewing and approving any changes

I’m pretty happy with the results TBH, so feel free to give it a go yourself
